SMi Stepper motor techometers use a small electric motor to drive the pointer. It is more precise than the more common 'aircore' instruments whose accuracy can be affected by the windings. Many professional race teams - NASCAR, etc. “ are switching to this style of tach for the improved accuracy and response (see the in-car TV cameras).

Maximum RPM recall - Just push the Recall button
High RPM Warning light - 2 stage - First warning can be set for just over your normal maximum RPM, the second stage at the redline. You get a warning of too many revs before you blow an engine. Can also be used as a 2 stage shift light.
LED back light - Back light shows through the dial face PLUS the pointer is LED illuminated to make this the easiest tach to read - and super sharp looking too

This QuickCar Gauge is a Fuel Pressure unit from the Extreme Gauge Series and features the QuickCar Logo. A 12 or 16 Volt power source is required to power gauge. Display has a 0-15 PSI Range and gauge is a 2-5/8" Diameter. This is Mechanical type gauge with a Male 1/8"NPT connection on the backside. Tubing kit not included and sold separately. A fuel pressure sender, 61-730 purchased seperately, is required to make gauge change colors when pressure drops below 4 psi. A fuel pressure isolator is highly recommended for use with this unit. Display has a 0-100 PSI Range and gauge is a 2-5/8" Diameter. This is Mechanical type gauge with a male 1/8" NPT connection on the backside. Tubing kit not included and sold separately. A oil pressure sender, 61-735 purchased seperately, mus be installed to make gauge change colors when oil pressure drops below 20psi. Sold each.

Display has a 140-280 F Range and face is a 2-5/8" Diameter. A water temp sender, 61-740 purchased seperately, must be installed to make gauge change colors when temp rises about 240 degrees. This is Mechanical type gauge with a 6 Foot capillary tube on the backside. Sold each.

Gauge also has a built-in 10 Volt Warning sensor that changes the LED back light from white to Amber when the battery voltage drops to 10 Volts or lower.
